Our available internships:

Drone Operator

Our Flight Operations team is looking for an intern to assist us in testing and operating our aircraft. You will receive training on how to operate our SAIL II fixed-wing drone which is currently in use by first response operators throughout the Netherlands. Your primary responsibility will be assisting our team with VLOS/EVLOS test flights, while also gaining experience with complex BVLOS operations. This internship is a great opportunity for anyone interested in the growing field of drone operations.

Requirements specific to the Drone Operator internship:

  • You are a student pursuing secondary education (MBO/HBO) in an aviation related field;

  • You are willing to work outside in all of the weather conditions prevalent in the Netherlands;

  • You hold an EASA A1/3 drone operator license;

  • You have a valid driver's license (Class B).

Internship requirements

  • You are a student of a university (HBO or WO) in the Netherlands;
  • You are looking for an internship and available for at least 4 months (preferably 5-6 months);
  • You are available for 32-40 hours per week;
  • Starting dates are discussable;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • You are open, able to focus independently on your own work, but also willing to ask for help and share;
  • You are eager to learn and you are not afraid of challenges and picking up new tools and ideas;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, demonstrating good interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • Near fluent in English;
  • EU citizenship or a EU work permit is required for this position.
