Our systems require high-quality and reliable software solutions in order for us to fly our missions safely. We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our team and enhance the reliability of our drone control software by developing robust automated tests.
You will be working in the software development team and collaborate to ensure the highest quality in our software and integration with hardware.
Your responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain automated test suites in C++ and Python on Linux.
Reproduce and diagnose intermittent bugs, ensuring long-term reliability.
Detect and troubleshoot hardware faults, working closely with our other engineering teams.
Collaborate on test automation strategies for embedded systems and flight software.
Work on-site to test hardware
For this role we are looking for someone with preferably a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. You are comfortable working with a system engineering approach and agile project management workflows. The following applies to you:
Mid to senior-level experience in software testing in C++ and Python on Linux using tools like gtest and pytest.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting software and hardware integration issues.
Ability to work on-site for hands-on testing with hardware.
And it would be a big plus if you have:
Familiarity with drone control software such as PX4
Experience with hardware debugging and driver troubleshooting.
Experience in manned aviation or other safety-critical dynamic systems
We’re looking for someone who is a great communicator and experienced in working with complex high-end products. You have the ability to deal with a continuously changing environment, and work independent with little supervision. You are easy to approach, able to focus on your own work, but also willing to ask for help and help others. You’re a team player!
English proficiency is required.

Salary range: 3465 - 4725 gross based on a 40h work week;
Hours: 32-40 per week;
